My neighbor recommended Restoration 1 after a sewage backup in my basement, saying they had the "Best Customer Service”. Matt arrived quickly to assess the damage and explained the work that would be done. He was kind and understanding and genuinely sympathetic to my awful situation. His presence was calming and he answered all questions and concerns I had. The cleaning and sanitizing crew arrived the next morning and was efficient and did excellent work. Maribel was awesome explaining it all and was visible and present while work was in progress. Steven then set up the fans and filters and insisted on taping down cords for my safety. For the next five days a Restoration 1 employee came to check the equipment. Each one called ahead and was polite and considerate of my time. When I mentioned I had an appointment the following day, the next employee to contact me already knew that and asked what time was best for me. And, amazingly — each time I called someone ANSWERED the phone - no voicemail, no message. That meant so much at a very upsetting time and I felt supported throughout the cleanup process.
And then I met Paige. When I received my bill I was distressed that it seemed more than anticipated. Paige indicated that absolutely it should be checked and she did - keeping contact with me the entire time. She was kind and personable and made me feel the company was with me, not against. Restoration 1 was honest and upfront and corrected my bill with no issues, in fact, through Paige they helped me navigate it all. Most importantly they were willing to LISTEN - so often missing in business these days. Paige and all of the employees of Restoration 1 are to be commended. The provide excellent service and I would recommend them with no reservation. They are a rare combination of exemplary work and personal service and I am grateful that I found them.
